Brandon's photography is brilliant ~ He captures the very essence of the Lowcountry and seems to capture the very soul of where we live with his amazing photography.
Great interview, Beth. I love following Brandon's almost daily FB photos. As you know, both both of you photograph and write about some of the places I spent much of my time growing up (and still do). The Lowcountry is a unique and special place in history. Thanks for sharing.
The Atkinson house picture with the setting sun and rocking chair is my favorite. How wonderful would it be to sit on that porch and listen to the stories of all those who once sat there? Reminds me of the saying, “Feeling lonely for a place I’ve never been.”
Brandon is absolutely amazing. His photography ,his research, and his way with words keep this old boy in touch with home. Thank you,Brandon!
I love Brandon's work also and have a copy of the above-mentioned book. Great feature article on him here!!!
Great interview for an introduction to Brandon, his beautiful photography and history of friends.
