If you don’t bake, and even if you don’t cook, you can make this dish and show up for a potluck looking like the woman who taught Martha Stewart everything she knows.
It goes by many names - Lemon Trifle, Lemon Mess, Lemon Angel - and I have seen variations on ingredients through the years, but my version has served me well for five decades, so I’m sticking with it for this post.
