Insider's Guide: Mobile, Alabama
A big value-add when planning a photography run to a new location is the ability to identify those one or two streets or that one really good historic district where 80% of your subjects are located, instead of wandering aimlessly up and down the streets on a wing and a prayer, hoping to run across a honey hole that you may or may not end up finding.
I can testify. In years past, I have made those runs and come up empty-handed only to discover (via an old house website or someone else’s social media post) that I had only been a couple of blocks away from the greatest house in town.
So while I am not promising to lead you to the greatest houses in Mobile, Alabama today (because I am sure there are still plenty that I have yet to discover) I can show you a few streets that will satisfy your craving. They are bona fide honey holes for sure.
