Following up on my daughter’s observations about baking one’s way through a snowstorm, I’m offering my recipe for Angel Biscuits.
These biscuits contain a few more ingredients than our tried and true “White Lily/Crisco/Buttermilk” version, but, woweee, are they delicious. Once I realized how easy they are, I am sorely tempted to make them my go-to biscuits. They somehow manage to be light as air and yet substantial enough to stand up to a nice slice of country ham.
